CAR + BIKE QUOTES

The car has become an article of dress without which we feel uncertain, unclad, and incomplete in the urban compound.
― Marshall McLuhan

Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.
~ Albert Einstein letter to his son Eduard, 1930.

I think that cars today are almost the exact equivalent of the great Gothic cathedrals; I mean the supreme creation of an era, conceived with passion by unknown artists, and consumed in image if not in usage by a whole population which appropriates them as a purely magical object.
― Roland Barthes - Mythologies

Life is like a ten speed bicycle. Most of us have gears we never use.
~ Charles M. Schulz
